Description
Medical notes:A slight infection, possibily toxic chemicals or alien origin. The patient seems a little withdrawn and unable to converse in any meaningful manner. Some loss of pigmentation in iris noted - vision unaltered. Appetite unaffected but more pronounced desire for offal and visceria.
Hold for observation. If possible.
My first attempt at a zombie type infection. Comments from zombie lovers welcomed.
Done in Painter 9 in 3 hours.

that's awesome. I love the whole "Medical Notes" in your comments - it makes zombification a lot more rational, and thus, a lot more plausible.

Just perusing your work and found this -- awesome piece! I think it stands as one of the best in your gallery. Nice job of conveying his 'hunger' through his facial expression. He looks like he's just ready to bite somebody's face off.
The only thing I'd like to see more of in this one is maybe some more detail in his ear, but that's it. Those eyes man, they are fantastic!

i like that mate. i like the muted tones, the brown shitty look it has really gives it a dirty dissparing feeling. he does look like he's about to savage somebody though. great work. and a really good write up you did below for it, you should develop it some more... the whole lot is very inspiring!

Hi. The full title is Corel Painter IX - use google to search for Corel's website. I think you can buy direct online. I got my copy bundled as part of the Wacom graphics tablet I bought.
Painter IX is the big brother to Paint Shop Pro - it tries to emulate real artistic brushes and materials, watercolour, inks, oils and airbrushes. I like the interface and the flexibility it gives me. I also have Photoshop but find the interface a bit of a struggle to be honest!

Treatment must continue - we must not abandon hope just yet. The course of Vitamin supplements seem to be having some effect.
However the smell can be a little overpowering in a confined space.
