I can see the shades of influence at work here! Jill's always been weirdly adorable despite the actual character arc and lifestyle. You have that coquettish playfulness that Bengus is notorious for laying on his female pin-ups. Although these have been exercises of continuous linework, your execution of other key skills like blocked shading have been exquisite

I wouldn't call it slacking! Art is akin to athletic performance; it needs a constant rotation of primary training modules to reach the overall goal.

Thanks mate. I think this is the thing about Bengus. Beyond how good his characters look, he does create character through the shape if that makes sense. The outlines and silhouettes are really strong. I see that in comic artists like Joe Madureira and Humberto Ramos who have that hybrid style too.
