Description
Character: Flaaffy (Pokemon)Materials: Minky, cloud minky.
Size: Approx. 10" from feet to wool top.
I was pretty happy to make another Flaaffy, since it's one of my favourite Pokemon, I love having any excuse to use cloud minky, and it always seems to translate really cutely into plush form. It was nice to make it with more pastel colours and a bit of extra wool per the commissioner's request.
Unfortunately I still haven't really found an ideal spot for photos in this house, so you'll have to excuse the somewhat mediocre pictures. She is so much cuter in person.
Flaaffy is made from blush, black, white and turquoise minky, with white cloud minky wool. It features an embroidered face and orb highlight. It's a little top heavy, but with a bit of patience and adjustment can stand on it's own.

It's a little difficult to find, especially since everyone calls it cloud minky, but I've never found it labelled as such when buying it

PS : for the "mediocre" picture I'm sure a bit of relight in something like photoshop would be more than enough to enhance it

And yeah, I played around with it a bit but I think I need to improve my Photoshop skills too haha

Just grab a level, pick the whitest point you can see (don't worry if it burns your image, once the first pick had been done press alt, you'll see the whitest part, click on it until it's not too burn)
Then add a curve (or just a curve if you don' treally have white in your picture to pick), grab somewhere close to the first third of curve and pull on it, you'll see on the picture what it does. Move it until the lighting is sufficient. Then after if your colours are a bit "bleached" add a vibrance/saturation, maybe need a colour balance to correct a bit more but curves should be enough by themselves (they really are magic !

She's so sweet! I love the softer colors, and the cloud minky looks great! It's a small detail, but I really like that you included an embroidered "shine" on her tail orb~
