EDIT: References are important guys. Case in point. This was drawn quite a while ago. Decided to go without a ref and paint from memory. Bad move. Well, I had some free time and decided to update it. Using a ref.

This was a beast, and SO much fun to draw. I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with a piece than I am this one. I poured everything I had into it, learned so much a long the way. I should have been working on commissions, but in the past 4 days this has occupied my time. I think this is my best piece to date.

Yah, I didn't want boring gray colors, I loved the reference I had, it had lots of cool blue tones in it. He must have been in a very sunny spot. XD
