AREN'T THEY BEAUTIFUL? I found just along the side of an old country road by a field here in NW Ohio. Love and thanks to all, especially for any favorites or comments, Audra

This is a sweet pea, aren't they pretty! Come back in a couple of weeks to see if the pods are on. When they start to split you can take the seeds and have some to grow in your own yard! They love shade and they like to climb so you could set up a trellis in a shady spot and have a whole wall of them! Look around this area more too and you might be rewarded by a few different shades of sweet pea. They come in a whole range of pinks, purples and even white. Don't eat the peas from these though, they aren't edible XP.

not seeing the vine I still think these could be orchids...was it on a vine or was it on a stem coming from the ground? do you have other pics of it?
