Agreed. I hold the Legend of Spyro series close to my heart. I did grow up with the old Spyro games, but the Legend series had a lot of really cool ideas and some good writing. Would've worked way better as a series of movies or a Netflix series than a video game trilogy, but still.

You did an awesome drawing of Malefor. I did wish they told us why in The legend of Spyro series why he turned evil. I am aware he is the main villain in the legend of Spyro series.

I believe they tell you in the Eternal Night. Even though it’s a little brief, it’s still interesting. I especially love the detail that his eyes are yellow, because the dark ather (fury) has taken him over.

I am still playing eternal night the wii version. I am currently stuck in the game.
I am in the point in the game where you have to go across a large gap and there enemy spider that shoots at you. It is after a cut scene is which Spyro sees bats flying over head. I can get across the first gap just fine. It is the second gap i am having trouble with.

Oh yeah that part is hard. It definitely took me a while. Keep trying, you’ll get it eventually! After that part, the game really picks up!

In your opnion is the eternal night on DS worth getting?

It is not worth to get it on the DS, I my opinion. I have it for the GBA and played an emulation if it for the Ps1. The DS version is lackluster compared to the others. I basically got to the second jump, and went as fast as I could towards the spiders. It took me like 30 min to do. It is not the last time you have to platform with something shooting at you.

Ok. I was just wondering. I have the new beginning on the DS. I am considering getting the eternal nigh for the DS. I do plan on getting the new beginning on the game cube. I do have a gamecube controller and memory card.
I have borrowed the Dawn of the dragon for the DS from the library the DS version of the Dawn of the dragon is very hard.

As far as i know i can't find game cube games at gamestop. Lucky i found copies of the new beginning for game cube on ebay.
I might end up geting the eternal nnight on the DS this way i ahve another TLOS game for my DS. Personally the only hard part i found for the DS version of the new beginning is the final battle with Cynder.
The DS versions of the new beginning and eternal night have mirror puzzles.

Yeah that part sucks. I would try just rushing the spider. Eventually, you'll make it. Try the gamecube games, the 3d makes them amazing!

can you explain to me what you mean by rushing at the spider? It is really frustrating because i had run out of ideas of how to get over there to kill that spider.
I think you have to use dragon time nit i am not 100% sure about that.

I saw your video, and that’s where I was stuck. You do have to use dragon time on the last jump. By rushing, I mean just run at the spider. If you keep moving towards it, they will overshoot.

Ok. So you have to use dragon time on the second branch. I can get from the ledge to the first branch but I can't get to the second branch that is across from you diagonaly.
Do you have any tips to get to the a cone branch?

Try positioning the camera so that it's facing in the direction of the branch. Makes it a little easier. Once you get to that jump, it's a lot easier to get to the platform. The platforming in this game is really hard, after playing a new beginning, I was really surprised.

I am really frusterated. I can't even position the camera so that it is facing the second branch that is across from diagonally. To make maters worse the spider shoots at me and the branch drops down before I can position the camera.
I am mad that the game company made this part really hard and unfair to the player.

I agree that it is a little too difficult. Keep trying, and if it makes you feel any better, I spent 30 min trying to play one duet on the Spirit Flute in Spirit Tracks. that does make me feel better that it took you 30 minutes trying to play one duet on a video game.
i saw the video. i went to the time stamp you told me to go to. from what i could tell from watching the video. it looks the player jump on the first branch straight on , and then flew to the second branch at an angel. I tried using a comet dash , but i couldn't get any closer to the second branch.
The problem is though as i try to move the camera the spider shoots at me, which makes it unfair to the player.

Yeah, it is really unfair. Keep trying, and I would keep trying the comet dash. The game really is worth playing though. It gets so much better after that part.

i kill the two spiders before i attempt to get the third one. I really hate the third one.
how do you shoot fireballs? or this is an upgrade that you get when you get enough experience?

Googled it, you cannot shoot fireballs, sorry! I would maybe try not double jumping until after the spider shoots.

I don't double jump when the spider is shooting at me, i do have to jump dodge the spider silk. I hope that makes sense.
I have to practice more on that annoying part of the game.

It was to me too. There was some yelling, but taking a break can be a big help. It is really worth it to play this game. It is really good after this point. Try looking up a guide.

No problem! The dark spyro guide is really vague, I tried using it for a different part. I would keep trying the jump, and try no funny angles. I would go as fast as you can.
