My only suggestion is that North Star's mane should be slightly darker.

I'm seriously considering looking up the old show; I've only really seen the Midnight Castle movie (although to be fair, they looked their absolute best for the 80's in that film, imo). I'm not sure if I'd like it at all, but I've been intermittently really into the aesthetic for a while now, and I guess I'm in the "On" phase of this whole on and off thing. The softness and the pretty, often sort of pale colors is somehow very gratifying for me... also I love this; and I'm vaguely proud that I could get most of their names right in my head :3c
