Hey guys, I just thought I'd update with a self portrait. I cut and dyed my hair. It's a new change, a new me and a new step towards what I hope is something better. I didn't get to go to Sac-Anime this time around. Last minute change of plans. I'm disappointed but honestly I'm not too broken up over it anymore. I've had time to come to terms with it and now I'm happy I stayed home instead of stressing myself out over another convention.So in an attempt to cheer myself up I put on some Pinup makeup and styled my hur to just go FAB for the night. Haha, I got a bit carried away with taking pictures of myself. This is the result. I've never considered modeling for obvious reasons. I'm short, not a size zero and have no esteem/confidence in myself. It's something I've always fantasized over though. I have no idea how I would get started in such a thing or even who I should be going to discuss this with.
BTW, I don't want to sound vain but I think I look a little bit like Lil Debbie from White Girl Mobb. I really love Lil Debbie and Kreayshawn~ They are such swaggin girls.

Where did you get your glasses? Are they actual (good frames for actual eyewear) glasses or just ones for fashionables? I really like them... I'm trying to find more glasses so I don't have to wear the same every day (even though I have contacts, somewhat, too).

You say you have no confidence and yet you put on a great show and you definitely have a look about you and you are very pretty which goes much deeper than makeup.It is still the real you behind the clothes and the wigs so get yourself out there and away you go.I have faith in you.Kevman.

Start on model mayhem. You can model. Yes the general-pop magazine photographers want size 0 girls. But there's so much more out there I did some model mayhem work right out of high school and made BANK. Then used the money to move to so-cal. Didn't even have to do nudes. I'm a 5 working my way to a 3 but I can literally never be a zero because of my hips. I promise, it's possible. Most photographers like unique faces, which you have. One photographer told me "every generation has a certain look to them. If you look at each generation there's a similarity to nearly everyone's structures. The 50's. The 60's. The 70's and so on. I like to see what's not so common" and many photographers I've encountered feel the same.
You're more confidant than you give yourself credit for! Not just saying that, if you weren't you wouldn't have the motivation to keep making wonderful cosplays
