Hey there guys, I'm here again with another portrait, though I can't say I'm too pleased about this one... I'm still trying though and will continue so I can handle doing more realistic drawings rather than only Anime. I like Anime, don get me wrong, but that won't get me far in life if I want to go somewhere with art. *nods* I'll balance out the two. Anyways, I know there's mistakes everywhere. For starters, the lips. I recieved some much critique on the lips, and I kinda screwed them up even more... And the nose too, which I can see now the errors... And the hair~ Hair is so hard u_u I still haven't come up with a method yet for hair. Maybe by the 4 or 5th pic I'll figure something out... Well, beat up this garbage~ I won't get better without it.Related content

Yay~ ^_^ Another. I like, I like. And you ARE improving. Hmm... let's see. The lips aren't actually that bad, and I like how you shaded between 'em, teeth and all, too. Just shade them a bit more to make them more 3-dimensional.
As far as the nose goes.. (rhymes. 
And as for the hair, that's something difficult that everyone has to learn. Experiment a bit to see what works for you~ .__. I personally draw individual strands and shade lighter and darker in certain areas. o_o Then I erase where the highlights/shine should go.

I liked this drawing when you showed it to me in person. I still like it. It's an awesome style, man & it's good to branch out and try different methods. This is proof that you don't just rely on ONE type of drawing style. Good job, buddy.

Hey, atleast you were able to practice some more when it came to doing faces => You will sometimes create some things that you aren't so pleased with, but atleast you're practicing and getting better at it.. soon, you will take all that experience and create something ownage XD
But yeah.. I feel this is awesome, though! Seriously.. I don't think the lips look so bad "O_O" Maybe they need more pronouncing on the bottom.. but that's really it regarding them XD And the nose does look a little flat.. but I remember when I did my practice, I SUCKED at it.. like seriously.. my nose sucked. The eyes are gorgeous, though.. like a mixture of realism and fantasy.. they look really pretty and shiny ;.; I think the left eye (our right) is a little long on the side, though.. but that's like it "O_O"
Still wonderful for a practice.. I know a technique for doing hair, but it's really weird to explain "XD;" I remember doing this before in class.. so yeah. Just keep at it and just.. try to practice with hair. I recall what I did is.. strands.. strands and I would bold some strands and light some others.. like what I noticed needed to be light.. and went on that way.. I really cannot explain.
Keep it up! Maybe you can search through the DAland search engine for realism tutorials.. like one for hair => Keep at it!

o_o the nose is flat? Wow~ that's a new one. Now that I look at it, it does...Blah, it hurts to look at u_u It could use some more shading to bring it out....As for the lip, the upper lip just bothers me a lot~ Personally I like the eyes a lot too. That's prolly the only thing I like in this pic...
