So this is my bat pony OC, Nightwind, shortly after Nightmare Moon's transformation back into Princess Luna, but still before she regained her powers and most of her memories. In my head cannon, Princess Luna only had her short term memories from before turning into Nightmare Moon, thus having no memory of him.
But how did Nightwind survive the 1000 years, you ask?
That's for another time.

Actually, Lighting Wing is a Stallion. He was part of the royal guard and got injured during a distant war. The Princesses decided it was a good idea to freeze him in time until they could properly treat his wounds, thus landing him in the modern era.
