Wand Bond: Celena has a very suppressed and timid personality. While her wand tends to be fickle at times, especially if Celena's not putting her hart into something, it is even less likely to with other wielders. Her wand has been known to refuse to preform spells outright if Celena is feeling deeply conflicted about something. This happens quite a few times, given that Celena can be easily influenced by those around her. The wand has an almost protective personality. While the moonstone is largely aesthetic, Celena found it to have a certain comforting effect, compared to the other wands she tried.

Lycanthropy: As a werewolf, Celena has medium brown fur. The fur is thinner on her face and body, but thicker on top of the head, neck and back. Her scars can still be seen under fur. Eyes stay the same color. By her first year at Hogwarts, she was already at a standing height of 5'8" (Her normal height was 4'7")

During her first year at Hogwarts, on the night of the full moon Celena would spend the night tucked away in Hagrid's hut. It was close enough to school that no one would notice her absence, and far enough away to avoid anyone seeing her by mistake. By her second year, Celena was tired of spending the night locked up, and was able to talk Hagrid into wandering through the edge of the Forbidden Forest for most of the night with her.

Before dawn, they would go back to the hut. Hagrid would take Fang on their morning walk over the grounds, and Celena would curl under a bear skin blanket and rest until the sunrise. After she transformed back, she get dressed and slip into the Great Hall for breakfast before anyone noticed she had gone.

Background

Celena has been a werewolf all her life, and has been taking Wolfsbane potion since she was around 3 years old. Since this is all she's ever know, to her, it's just a part of her daily life. While her dad never shied away from the severity of her condition, he never let her feel guilty about it. He always reminded her that just because there are bad people who are werewolves, doesn't mean werewolves are bad people. They often dreamed about moving out of the city, to the county were Celena could roam during the full moon, but they could never afford it ad had to stay in the city for her dad's work.

At first, Celena had mixed feelings about being sorted into Slytherin. The plus side was her dad's estranged relatives finally started acknowledging her existence (her dad never told them she was a werewolf). What worried her was the reputation Syltherin had about turning out bad witches and wizards. She was afraid this meant she really was bad after all.

It was potions class that turned things around for her. She had a natural aptitude for it, having spent a lot of her childhood studying Damocles and other potioneers, as well as their techniques. It was also one of the few classes that didn't involve "silly wand waving", which she had a harder time with. She soon had a lot of respect for Snape and was proud to be a member of his house.

It was also during her first year that Celena developed her first big crush on fellow Slytherin, Draco Malfoy, though she was much to afraid to Crabbe and Goyle to even say 'hi' to him. That didn't stop her from pining after him the way only an emotionally repressed, pre-adolescent girl can. She never took into much account of what type of person he was. All she knew was he was pretty, confident and Snape seemed to like him well enough. (On that note, Celena had an early distrust of the Golden Trio, because of how much Snape seemed to dislike them)
