oh my... Dracula is my all time favorite movie and this is my favorite costume from it! you've done a wonderful job, its breathetaking, it really is! i hope you can find a nice guy to be dracula when halloween rolls around!

The weight of the fabric itself is very light, because it's silk dupioni. But I used a little over thirteen yards of it, and with all of the stitch-work, that makes it a little on the heavy side. But it's really not that bad. I did all the pleating myself; it took quite a long time to get them all into place.
It is pretty fun to wear, it's just easy to get the train stepped on. X) That has happened a lot with this dress. I wore it as a vampire mistress when working at Spooky World here in Boston and got stepped on quite a bit. But it was worth it because it's one of those eye-catching gowns.
