Description
Vaporeon's now my strongest Pokemon of my Pokemon Go team with a CP of 1003! I'm so proud ;; u ;;I'm fairly weak compared to the rest of my friends and others but this Vaporeon helped me successfully take over a gym for a little over two hours and that's a new accomplishment :'D (got taken over shortly by a Exeggutor otl)
What team are and level are you guys? I'm on Team Mystic and just got to level 11!

Go Team Mystic! I'm on the same team as you and my strongest Pokemon is also a Vaperon and CP 724. Around me there are three gyms and for about an hour my Pinsir was sitting in the gym until it got taken over by team Instinct which onkly held the gym for like 30 min before Mystic toke it back over again. All the gyms around me are either Mystic or Valor and when they do become Instinct they never stay that way for long.

Team Mystic ftw! Vaporeon seems to be a popular pokemon among the gyms because it gains so much CP after evolving from Eevee. There are these three gyms (each team has one gym) in a part near my school and they can't seem to take each other over, it's pretty amusing to see each of the teams compete for dominance over the others (and they can't haha)

I found that around me Team Valor always has fucking Arcanine in their gyms which is odd because I live near a lake a very large lake so I can get a shit tone of Horsea and Paras. Like I'm catching them so often I swear I'm flooding Professor Willow with them. But then Team Valors got Arcanine I'm lucky that I even got one Growlith. Instinct always puts fire or rock pokemon in the gym so team Mystic just comes along with our water pokemon and win easily.

ikr? Pretty much 99% of Valor gyms have an Arcanine somewhere in the herd. I do live in an area where it's normally pretty hot so I can sometimes run into a fire type or two. Tbh I'm probably flooding Prof Willow with Pidgeys, Rattatas, and Paras because there are so many in my area. It's not often I can get different pokemon :'D

I get so many Paras oh and Magikarp or as my entire group of friends calls it Magicrap. I live where it's hot and its got water plus by a mountain so I get some random ones sometimes like Pidgeys have become more common and so have zubat. I also managed to catch a Pickachu which was awesome. My mom also plays and is also on Team Mystic and she works at a hospital and she can't stop catching Chansey like all the time.

aaah I wish I had access to Magikarps, becaude eventually you'd be able to get gyarados (with enough patience haha)
There's always an occasional Pikachu in the neighborhood, though I've only seen maybe 3 of them
My little sister does play Pokemon go but she's still level 2 XD

I'm only level 9 and my mom is like level 4. She plays it almost daily since she works almost every night so she just leaves her phone on while wandering the hospital to do her rounds and what not. I just think it's funny how my mom who's a nurse can only seem to catch the nurse pokemon. So what was the first pokemon you caught in Pokemon Go? I love finding out what everyones first pokemon was.

Haha that's cool! Being able to play pokemon while at work sounds awesome!
Besides Bulbasaur, the first Pokemon I caught was a Pidgey (i threw like 3 pokeballs and missed every time in the beginning :'D)

Nice. My first pokemon was a Meowth who has been renamed Mewoth since that's what auto correct picked. My second was a Squirtle who is just Squirtle. I only rename the pokemon that I really want to keep which is my Vaperon which is now Vapors On. Meowth who is now Mewoth and a Vulpix who is named Novem after my Ninetails Pokemon Gijika character.

Vaporeon is such an agile looking pokemon.
I personally havent tried gym fights yet, im still to weak compared to peeps here. But I choose team Valor.

I have tried a few gym fights and lost the majority of them haha because there are a lot of crazy valor people in my neighborhood with their 1700+ arcanines :'D

Lots of eggs? Many lucky lucky eggs? No clue.
Some gym near us has a high level snorlax and im just like, "the hell, whered ya find him?"
Every gym here has the same thing, eeveelutions, raticates, pidgeots, an executor maybe. Not much else.

yeah pretty much, (and the occasional gyarados and lapras), maybe because people use money to buy the lure modules and lucky eggs and etc.
You can actually level up really fast if you use all three at the same time, I just went to my neighborhood park where someone activated two lure modules on pokestops that were right next to each other. I used an incense and lucky egg and walked around the pokestops to hatch eggs and evolve pokemon. I got about 13000 exp total (just got to level 11) in less than 30 minutes!
same though, there's this one Instinct gym near me that has a 1997 dragonite and I'm like "how???"

And jeez, a dragonite?!!??! I have had dratini show up on my radar listy thing once in the whole time ive played.... But jeebus.

My friend actually found a dragonite in a national park near her home, so it seems like rarer pokemon show up in more well known landmarks.
and yeah people really do have too much time on their hands, it's almost a little scary (the people who get to level 21 in less than a week haha)
