Hard to believe, but until last year I never had drawn the Frankenstein monster. Now I'm constantly being asked to draw him for books and games. He is a great character you can do so much with, thanks to Mary Shelley.Related content

I dig the exaggerated proportions and the pose a lot. The attire is pretty cool, classic Ghost of Frankenstein. Not sure about the bolts in the ankles, though. :-P

I always though bolts on just the neck would send a volt from one side of the head to the other. Bolts on the feet get that charge through the whole body. At least that is what I discovered in my lab.

haha. clever explanation, hadn't thought of that. I suppose that's probably the reasoning behind artists who depict the monster having bolts at every joint? I just always wondered, because the classic Universal version most people think of only had them in his neck....and of course, in the novel, no bolts are mentioned whatsoever.
