Commission for TrooBerger of her OC Kiernan. Kiernan is a werewolf mercenary who is also a member of the Queen's private guard. The request for this image was to showcase the duality between wolf and man in a subtle way. In this world the moonlight is what allows Kiernan to transform so in this image the parts that are in the moonlight are wolf, and the parts that are in the shadow are human. It's subtle but it was such a fun request/challenge to solve! Kiernan is high up in a tower, waiting for his latest target. Even though it was night, I wanted the city to feel alive and I had a ton of fun with the glow from the city streets. Fun behind-the-scenes fact: The chat helped to design the raven-skull-gargoyles he's leaning on and to continue that motif I included an unkindness/conspiracy of ravens flying below. ⁠⠀
