Heidi was the only girl amongst four older brothers (Gray, Reynold, Seymour, and Maynard). Up until then Heidi’s mother and father (two very kind-hearted yet bold stoutlands) had only boys. Heidi’s mom and dad ran a rescue agency in Reversal Mountain, Lentimas Town. This was because of the many cases concerning lost, trapped hikers or explorers due to the harsh sandstorms that blew day and night.

Her mother was a kind-hearted and soft-spoken woman but a very persistant authority on rescues. Her father was quiet and refined, the leader of the pack kind of man. Her brothers worked as rangers, usually sticking together on missions but sometimes would split into two teams and sent out to aid the people in need. The brothers were a typical bunch of rough-housing kids. They were dirty, wily and often clumsy. Being quadruplets, they all enjoyed the same things, thought the same often, and were just typical boys. Her mother always dreamed of having a girl after raising the boys and when Heidi was born, everything changed. As Stoutlands, the family had a natural tendency to be “big-hearted” no matter what the occasion or who they had to rescue. Her four brothers were definitely this… but more-so push-overs, having that strong sense of justice but being as authoritative as a daisy. Heidi was not the sort. Even though she was young and was not allowed to participate in rescues, she was a very spirited and opinionated child. She constantly yacked at her older brothers after they came home from missions, spouting critiques (often repeated from her father)and rants on what she’d do when she would become a rescuer until her mom had to tell her to be quiet. On days she didn’t spy, she spent hours in the yard practicing new tricks and speeches for the future. She loved her brothers and loved the business that her parents were running. The sheer joy of going out to the mountains and rescuing people (and getting all that praise for doing so) filled her with excitement. During the days they were sent out to the mountain, she would quietly sneak away from the keen eyes of her parents to spy on her brothers, carefully observing their ways and thinking about the future when she, too, would be part of the rescue brigades.

As Heidi grew older she became very rebellious. She respected her mother and father like a “good girl”, usually at face point but would sneak along with her brothers (causing much annoyance when they needed to concentrate) and adding a bit of “flare” to the rescues. She often showed off her rescue tricks (such as making stone steps to reach high places ect.) Much to her brothers’ annoyance she also often critiqued them on their “wussy ways” in front of clients. She sometimes messed up their missions in the process (causing cave-ins or getting in the way). She was grounded many times because of this. But not even the restrictions kept her at bay for long, she would easily break out of her room to scout with her brothers. (Much to their dissatisfaction.)

On her 18th birthday, Heidi was “knighted” a rescuer, passing the tests and drills with flying colours. Her dream became a reality. She was sent out on her very first mission. She dove in with her head held high. Due to her head-strong attitude and unyielding will she was quickly pushed to leader of her brothers’ squad, unfortunately for her brothers. Over the years, she has learned about the true meaning of rescuing others but has never had much patience with clients or her brothers. Due to her short-fuse, her brothers rarely argued with her decisions, even though some led them to dead ends and dangers. She sometimes risked the safety of the client on “shortcuts” and was quite rough when rescuing a victim and didn’t think too much on their emotional health and paid attention only to getting them out and safe. She enjoyed rescuing people but overlooked how to connect to her clients on an emotional level which made missions slightly disconnected. There were many complaints about Heidi’s service but she paid them no mind. This goes on for seven years.

One day, Heidi and her brothers were sent deep into Reversal Mountain again on a mission to rescue a trapped girl. Heidi led them into the dank tunnels and found the girl standing impatiently on a pile of rocks. The girl instantly spouted rude remarks, and complaints instantly at the site of the brigade, mostly aiming directly at Heidi. All the way through the caves, the girl’s complaints could be heard echoing through the walls until they finally reached the entrance. “You guys are so slow, I could’ve gotten out of here without your help!” she uttered. Heidi snapped. She shot back a rant of her own which caused the girl to burst into tears. Later they returned the little girl to her parents and the siblings left for home. The next day, the girl’s parents showed up at her door, fury flashing through their eyes. They were suing. They were apparently very wealthy people and could shoot down a store with the flick of a wrist. They threatened that if Heidi was not taken off of the brigade, the rescue business was to be shut down and replaced.
Heidi wasn’t fazed by the “big talk” of the two and continued on preparing for the next day. Her brothers, father and mother were quite concerned however. Heidi was hurting their business but they didn’t know how to tell her without bursting into an unneeded argument. They sat down, away from Heidi, to discuss the terms of what they could do. Then a brochure showed up amongst the brothers. Raccolto was a peaceful set of islands and could maybe use a nice rescue agency away from there’s.
The decision was final, the next week, Heidi’s parents shipped her off to Raccolto with her partner pup (Brulee) on a one-way ticket in the guise of a “vacation”, hoping the peaceful life she can find there would gradually sweeten up her bitter ways and have a few lessons learned.

-She has a strong British accent and has quite a loud voice, people sometimes have to remind her that she needs to level herself at times.

- She constantly restocks the herbs she stores in her ponytail so that she can quickly and efficiently treat injuries when need be.

- She likes to stay her distance from others and prefers to observe, that way if trouble were to arise she will be prepared to step in; this often causes her to miss various enjoyable activities with others and can be a bit disconnected.

-She constantly patrols Mystery island during the day, stalking others if she senses suspicious activity. She often leaves her HQ to be guarded by Brulee.

-She is afraid of heights and prefers on-ground stealth to high rise spots.

-Tea is her weakness. Give her a cup of Oolong or Chai and her mood instantly lifts, it's almost kind of scary.

- She snorts when she laughs.

- She has a strange love for mud and will often be spotted walking around (trying to conceal her happiness) after a good rain.
