Description This is my piece for #YouArePart 's current challenge .

In the times that you feel most alone, you're mistaken. There's is someone there to help you, you cares about you, who you matter to. You are never alone.

Aww!! Poor little guy! This is a really well-done emote. The only thing I could really say is that, the expression of the purple emote seems...wrong, I guess? I would imagine it should look almost...bored or irritated. And is the green one crying because the purple one left him, or because the boxes fell? I'd give him a few extra frames in either direction: When someone's upset and they're doing something, they usually pause before they stop/drop what they're doing and just cry. If the boxes fell and that's the breaking point for him, I'd give him a few frames and/or a sniff before he breaks down.

Otherwise? Absolutely adore this emote.

I agree with ~NintendoTechGuy about the boxes. I thought they were mugs. I know size has a lot to do with it. The smaller it gets, the harder it is to clearly identify.

I do like that you don't have a background on this one. I'm not a big fan of backgrounds on emotes; especially when I'm going to be using them in chats and journals. It's too distracting.

ERC

What can I say? This is excellent. Only, what exactly are they carrying? Those little brown things could stand to be a little more detailed, whatever they are. Also, without a background, it sort of looks like they're simply jumping up and down. But that's just me. It's still an awesome emote.

They're boxes. I thought that was pretty obvious. There's only so much detail you can pack into 8x8 pixels.

Background would add unneeded information which would detract from the message.

aww :C You have done a great job to display the emotions of the green emote, I adore how the heart breaks apart and that he is looking down (as well as the tears that runs down his face) when the purple left him. I also like that box is open when it fell down (it looks like that to me xD) And I like that the blue emote is looking at the boxes at first instead of immediately hugging the green emote.
Overall it is an really adorable emote

But there are also a few things that bother me a bit:
The animation of the blue emote is a bit choppy from Frame 120 to 124, it looks like that there are some frames missing.
I think the comforting part of the animation could have been a bit longer, maybe you could have added how the green emote looks at the blue emote and smiles at him, kinda like [link]
And I think you could have found a better way to loop the animation, i might be wrong but i assume that you either got lazy to finish it or you got tired of it and you just wanted to finish it
I have a few suggestions how you could have looped it:
1. The blue and the green emote picked up the boxes and then the blue emote turns slowly into the purple emote.
2. The blue emote leaves alone the screen while the green emote picks up the box again and then the purple emote appears to help him.
3. the green and the blue Emote leave the scene and the green and the purple emote appear again and pick up the boxes.

The loop is definitely not going to change. It's how I originally planned it ending. Each of those loops gives a different story than what I intended.

However, I can smooth the animation in those frames, for sure. And the smile is a really good idea.

Thank you.

this is kinda funny in a good way to me, because this is exactly how one of my characters meets their future spouse in one of my stories.

Yep. The guy is carrying a stack of something down the street and part of it falls over and he's struggling, and everyone is walking by, not helping him. Then the gal comes over and helps him. Certainly they don't fall in love that moment, but that is how they meet and begin to talk. So, this was totally cute to see this as it made me smile for a totally different reason.

That's a very cute meeting, at least. Well, not too fun for him at that moment, you know.
