The shading of the emotes is great, the dithering on the 'island' is clean and well done, and it's clear what each of the little Emotes are doing.
The only thing I could point out would be how the emotes are resting on the 'island' itself. They seem to be floating slightly, and not actually touching anything. Maybe if you added some kind of shadow beneath them it'd show that they're actually resting on it? Just a suggestion.
Either way this is really well done, and a very creative project entry. Keep up the great work!
