WELCOME TO THE PEARL-HUMAN EXCELLENCE MENTORSHIP (PHEM) PROGRAM

Pearl (Adoptee): Powder Blue Pearl

Backstory: A Pearl that requires limb enhancers due to missing fore arms and legs. She was the Pearl of a very aggressive Carnelian, who used her as a training dummy. Her gem was cracked and repaired over and over until she ended up with no limbs. She was given limb enhancers to replace her missing ones, but she continued to receive abuse until Era 3 when she had to be freed.

Now free, she still requires her artificial limbs. Powder Blue is looking for a family that can simply allow her to experience Earth peacefully, safely, and quietly.

What is PHEM?

A branch of the Gem-Human Excellence Mentorship (GHEM) program created by Amethyst.

At first, the program was created to help a handful of Pearls freed, not by Crystal Gems, but by Iron Rose Hematite of the Dark Planet. Wanting to learn independence and explore their own identities, Amethyst decided to expand the GHEM program to add a special program for Pearls. Once news grew about this program, many other Pearls began to approach Amethyst about finding housing and employment and, sometimes, a friend or family.

Unlike in GHEM, any humans wanting to enter the PHEM program have to pay an adoption fee as they would not just be hiring a Pearl, but housing a Pearl as well. Some Pearls, as explained by Amethyst and the towering Iron Rose, have never experienced life outside of being used as a tool or doll and need help with various skills, such as speech or decision-making.

As an Adoptable:

- Once adopted, Powder Blue Pearl is yours to do what you wish. Maybe she remains a Gem? Becomes Human? It's up to you.

- I only ask that, once adopted, if you do any artwork, tag me or share a link so I can see them. Like a mother seeing their children off into the world, I would like to see how they become, should you do anything.

Acquiring and Payment:

- If you wish to adopt Powder Blue Pearl, comment below. This is by a first come, first serve basis. Chat message "dibs" won't be accepted.

- I am only taking payments via Paypal for the moment. Sorry for those that wish to use points.

- Once you comment, I will message you ASAP but I do expect a reply from you within 2 days. If not, I will cancel the process and the adoptable will go to anyone else that may have shown interest.

- If all is well, I will send a link to my Paypal for payments to be sent.

- Once adopted, I will send a transparent PNG of the character adopted

- Prices of future adopts can change at anytime, although will usually only change if my art skills improve, or if other accessories or Gems are requested.
