So let's do a checklist:
-Only 3 layers.
-Only one layer used for both outlining and coloring (except for the background).
-No pose reference.
-Painted with Autodesk Sketchbook on my iPad with no stylus; just fingertips.

Go hard or go home.

At first, I was just gonna do a normal traditional drawing but then I decided to do a digital painting instead. I wanted to redraw/repaint Snowflake Obsidian fav.me/d9u5bhx , the fusion between my gemsona, Black Star Diopside, and GemByrd 's gemsona, Chalcedony, to show how much I improved in figure drawing over the past year. Also because I just love how their design first turned out! Though I did tweak the design a bit in this current rendition.
