Have you ever noticed that people get scared to death by the simplest things, bugs, lighting, and planes? Those things scare people, but that night, when I saw that lake, I experienced true fear.

This- this feeling I have right now, it’s a feeling I have never felt before. My whole body is shaking and my vision is getting blurry, I’m so scared right now I think I’m going to throw up. This lake is-is evil, why is it even here or more importantly, why does it even exist?! It was just a story made up by that charlatan of a tour guide at the museum. Turning my head left to look at Alex, I noticed that he was just a scared as me. Forcing myself to move I walked to him and tried to snap him out of it. But no matter how much I shock him, he wouldn’t wake up, so I took my hand and gathered all my strength and slapped him as hard as I needed to wake him up, it worked. He looked at shocked look on his face holding his left cheek, * Jenson, what’s going on, where are we?* he asked.*I’ll explain later, but we just got to get out here now Alex, this place isn’t normal* I explained. He shook his head up and down and got up and started to walk away. Just as I was about to join him, the edge gave out right under me, before I completely feel I grabbed the side of the cliff and struggled to pull myself up. Realizing what happened, Alex ran as fast as he could to help me. He told me to grab his hand, I tried, I tried so hard, but as I was close to grab his hand the piece of cliff I was holding on to was giving out and I fell. All I could hear was Alex screaming no as he saw me fall. Time began to slow down as I was heading for the water. Then a big splash was heard, I was gone, never to be seen again.

While I was in that lake, all I could see was darkness, it coalesces all around me; I couldn’t breathe and soon began to pass out. Suddenly, I woke up, but something felt off. My body wasn’t moving, I couldn’t move my arms, legs, or my head. Using what little strength I had, I held up my hand and in the air, only to see it fall apart right before me. But the funny thing is, I wasn’t that surprised, I realized what happened and it didn’t take long for me to find it out. Like that tour guide said this lake contained the essence of an evil entity that lived long before god created man. So when I feel in, I absorbed the essence that was in this lake. Don’t really know how or why this happened, all I know is that I am no longer human. But, I will not stymie in getting back on my feet and getting out of this hell of a place. It was hard, but my viscosity arms and legs finally formed and I was able to walk. While walking I realized that my body was rather haphazard and need some fixing up. It was surprising, at first all it was hard for me to just to get on my feet, but in a matter of seconds I was able to fix my entire body, but my clothes are good and gone, they must have be dissolved by the water of the lake. All this was happening to fast, I still fell like myself, but in a way I don’t. Soon, I began to wonder if there was antidote, remedy or cure. But something tells me that there isn’t. Standing in the middle of the empty crater, I began to think about the lake and the legend behind it. The origin of this whole place is obscure. Why, has no one found it, and why have I become a vessel for it? The fact I’m alive is strange. But, putting all that aside. What’s more important at this moment is finding some clothes, *growl* and something to eat, I’m hungry. Making my way out of the forest, I saw a something, a deer. Something came over when I saw that deer, my hunger increased and my attitude changed. It was like I had become an indigent animal hunting its prey. Suddenly, everything went dark, but when I came to my senses, I realized what happened, what I did. Looking down I saw blood all over my hands and ripped up body of the dears. Doing my best to prevent becoming bravado, I quickly ran away. While running, I noticed that the blood on my body was slowly being absorbed in my body. Having carp with myself, I lend back on a tree and took a breath. Looking down again I asked myself, what have I become?
