Cross and Erza are running to where the loud sound came from earlier. "HELP!!" a voice cried, both of them stopped when they heard the cry for help. "PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP!!", the voice pleaded. " I'll go check this out, you go see what that sound was, okay? '', said Cross. ''Alright, be safe okay? '', Erza said. "Right!", he said. Cross ran down the left of the two houses and then spotted an old man on the ground who can't get up. "Are you alright sir?", said Cross, helping the old man back on his feet. ''Yes I'm fine.", the old man said in a weak voice. "Can you tell me who did this to you and why?" Cross asked him. "Iit was gang of young men called the Hakai crew.", he replied.

"The Hakai crew? who are they?", questioned Cross. "They are horrible men that go to towns and destroy anything they see in sight, and they beat and torture the people in them! ''said the old man. "That's awful!", said Cross with a sad look on his face. "But they're just a bunch of punks!", said Cross, "I'm sure all of you could have handled them right?" "Yes we could have, but they have a very strong wizard that's their leader." the Old Man revealed to him. A shock of surprise took over Cross' face.

"A wizard?!", Cross thought. "His name is Rage. His magic can destroy houses and mountains, he takes our food, our women, and leaves us with nothing! People are dying and starving to death! If can young man please... HELP US!", the Old Man said while whimpering. "Of course I will.", said Cross as his eyes narrowed at the thought of the evil wizard who was hurting these townfold. Cross picks up the old man by the shoulder and holds him to his side as he moves with incredible speed. Suddenly they are out side of the town. "My word!', 'screamed the old man. "How did you-", then old man stopped talking as he looks at Cross and sees steam coming out of is body. "Goodness!", the old man thought. "You'll be safe here. I'm going to take care of these guys for you and your people.", said Cross.

"B-but!", stuttered the old man. Cross turned his head back to him and said, "I promise you, I'll bring happiness back to your town." His eyes where intense and filled with fire, they where once blue, but now his eyes are red and shaped as a creature's. The old man was scared at first but he knew that his heart was pure and sincere. He smiles and said to him, "Alright boy! Show them what you've got!", giving him a thumbs up for encouragement. Cross smiles back and says, "Right!", as he begins running back to the town. "I know you can do it boy, you have the same courage I had when I was your age!", the Old Man thought.
