Okay I'm just going to test you guys to see if you can tell who this character is. Its one of mine. I'll edit this later with the right answer.EDIT: Yay cool a lot of ya got it! It is in fact my little Fire born. He's the oldest one in the world now. 14 years old! Like I said on my previous pick, they don't really last very long. Superstition has them killed for fear of the power they posess and their eyes are highly prized for magical properties. Mias' brother has the largest collection of fire born eyes. The saddest thing is, they can do nothing what-so-ever. NOTHING! Just like you or me. Well, not really. But I'm not going to tell what he can really do.
So he's changed a lot from the first pick I drew. As they get older their hair colour dies down the same way a fire dies down. Their hair is an intense red when they are born,
as they grow up it turns to black, then grey then a sort of ash white. He's growing up and blending in a bit more now. He still has flecks of red in his hair...cos it's cool!

Of course now that I check back to actually comment on this picture, you already cleared up who it is - I must admit I wouldn't really have been able to tell who it is without going waay back to your gallery, since he seemed familiar but I couldn't remember much about him.

I felt bad cause i didn't know his name...then i realised you never gave the name of the fireborn...but i knew who it twas cause of the eyes...the hair was also an awesome touch. Great work Jen!

Announce a name competition for Fire Born? (with a prize picture to encourage entries not that you need it...ppl would jump at the chance to be the person who named one of your character)
or are you like me and ponder aimlessly on names but would rarely take a name someone else suggested? I need a bunch of names for some of my characters...my favorite character (to draw at least) still doesn't have a name....
