Wow how neat! I know raccoons can be a real problem if they get into your house, but I wouldn't mind having him visit our house.
Guess what?
All our birds left us, because we didn't fill up the bird feeder in 3 days. D:
Our bluebirds were the first to go, followed by the chickadees and titmouses and then the rest like the House Sparrows left...
It's sad not having them as company anyone. We filled up our feeder finally, but we haven't seen them since. Oh well.

Some of them came back today. We still have our doves and woodpecker along with a house sparrow, cardinal, and titmouse. I'd say the doves are surprisingly the most loyal. Even squirrels are not as loyal as they are.
I wish our bluebirds will come back. D:

They should... but it could take a while to wander back. I've gone weeks without seeing them but sure enough the same family unit always comes back

Well, I guess that makes sense since raccoons are north and south American animals... but not even squirrels?? O_O
Actually, what kind of critters do Europeans have to deal with? We have raccoons, foxes and opossums... so do you have badgers or foxes or something else? I've never looked into it before

well... foxes I'm sure and badgers, but they're pretty rare. I live in a part which is surrounded by water with only a kind of big dam and the animals never figured how to cross it. We have a few deers too but they're too a rare sight.
