Last of the Evangelion "Everything is -NOT- alright with the world" fic series!
Quick Description:
The fate of Gendo Ikari revealed. Confronted in his office by the Angel Ruth, Gendo is transformed into a drider (spider-centaur).
Back Story:
And he heard the melodic voice within his mind. "Gendo Ikari no one deserves to face the torments and fire so much as you. But as there was space in the original garden for the serpent, so too is there a place within the new for you. Behold the fate that awaits you....
As the spasms passed, Gendo took in his... no her new form.... Perched behind her desk on a newly spun web, a sardonic smile crossed her lips allowing a hint of her new fangs to show.... "Yes, all according to plan..." can the silky smooth reply.

I imagine that she'd be happy as long she got what she wanted in the end. This is a man willing to become the devil himself to be reunited with the love of his life.

Although the new Gendo will now always get to see Yuri's image, hear her voice, whenever she wants and be one with her image as he imagines it. But she also be forever tormented knowing that Yuri is not truly there. She's being offered the position of schemer / temptress (devil) in the new world the Angel would be creating. She would be forever able to spin her convoluted plans and webs for the unwary.
But will she say "yes"?

If you mean the clones (Rei) that are based on her physical body, they are becoming a flock of fairies almost as fast as they are "activated" by the computer. The memory imprint that appears to be part of Eva 1, at best poor tormented ghost in a shell, finally freed to journey to her ancestors.
