I will never again buy an ipod classic. Done that twice, the second was a big flop, because one day itunes refused to do anything and it always freezes, tried to do everything but nothing worked.
For many years I order different mp3players from amazon and never had to install a crap program like itunes, always was able to put the music on it immediately.
I'm very thankful I can do that without a program like itunes for it, it's easier and never a problem so far.
