1. Cherry and Wind Rider had just settled down in Appleloosa, what with Wind Rider deciding to take break from work and focus on his precious son full time. He wanted to cool down a bit, turn away from the fame and be more...preserved. Cherry was a lovely woman, and he didn't see himself cheating on her as much as he usually would with other women. What could he say? He liked her. Although she warned him of a dispute with her previous husband Filthy Rich, and how she was going to go pick up her half of her belongings this fated day. What she didn't tell him was that she would be bringing back a wholeass child in "the half that she won", leaving him shocked, betrayed, and confused. Red Tail shared this sentiment as well, and would for the rest of his life.

2. Here, we see all the children that live with Cherry. Does this imply they're all hers and that they are more that don't live with her? Yes! Will we ever see them? Who knows!

3. Upon being dropped a very sudden rude, brash, and frankly violent older brother that Cherry told Red that he had to listen to, he was also quite rude back. At first he wasn't; he was a baby, shying away and crying alone, until one day he finally confided in his father. Wind Rider, aggravated that Dallas was being rude to his son who was happy and well before this, told Cherry to discipline him...but she hit him with the "you're his dad, you do it." Very annoyed, he instead told Red it was fine to beat the shit out of his brother if he aggravated him, and well... Red took it to heart. He became more angry and reactive, and it made his father proud to see him win scuffles. But it also made his parents fight, and whenever they fought, Dad would leave for a long time, leaving him alone... but they always had the best time when he came back. He just had to hold out until then.

4. On that note, another thing that Cherry and Wind would fight over is their daughter, Sagura. When she was born, they both immediately declared her to be the most gorgeous and precious thing ever and they both wanted to spend as much time with her as possible. Well, Wind Rider had gone back to work at this point, and Cherry had to juggle her as well as the two scuffling boys at home, so any time Saguara was actually the center of her parents' attention, she had to do what THEY wanted, not what she wanted. Wind's idea of fun was taking her and her feathered brother out to dash across the desert, while Cherry wanted to take her clothes shopping and singing and dancing for charity or whatever. Being pulled between them was hard, but when she had to choose was even harder. The opposite parent would be pissed, bitter, and hold a grudge against her for days at a time. Because of this, as a kid, it was very hard for her to figure out what she liked because she just wanted to please her parents so they weren't mad at her.

5. Here we see Saguara in the teenage years, more or less over the whole "pleasing her parents" thing. Wind Rider wants her to be the new Rainbow Dash (at this point, he had been denounced) and was working her harder than ever alongside her star brother. She just couldn't do it, no matter how hard she tried, so she started failing on purpose. He got angry, yelled at her, ect. She was finally worthless to him now that she wouldn't do what he said.
With Cherry, it was the same deal. Going out, dressing up, all that stuff. She didn't like it, going to the club or trying to get with boys. Any dress Cherry bought for her, she'd cut it into something she'd like and get yelled at for it. This made Cherry extremely petty and annoyed, and she wouldn't lend her money or even necessities until she got an apology. Saguara, just as stubborn, would often just do all the work around the house for no praise since Cherry wouldn't do it anymore out of spite. At least that wasn't anything new....

Bonus info: Red Tail and Sagura have a pretty good relationship, and aat a point they moved to Cloudsdale with Wind after Cherry after she gave birth to Tumbleweed who was very clearly not Wind Rider's. They got to talk a lot more and be more heart to heart without Dallas between them bullying them, and learned a lot about each other that way. Going to school together and helping each other out, actually being able to be siblings that had good sides of each other....they were best friends during that time, and would continue to be after they moved back to Appleloosa.
