Most unusual and accomplished wood cut. I have none so far and must favour this. Donate llama to ~HuntedCity for favouring it first and showing it to me.

Good to see that Surrealism still lives in South America. First class woodcut.

Muy bueno, me recuerda a ciertos seres de la Serie La Torre Oscura (The Black Tower) de stephen king.
Aunque para ser xilografia, es espectacular el resultado... menudo curro!

Really amazing work. Beautiful design and tight inking. Great details and contrast. I really like the bizarre combination of a human body and a bird's head. Incredible work. It's just a shame that you can't scan it in properly. Or atleast that's my conclusion since you took a photo of it.

+ i had this at an exhibition and i was surprised when some people described it as "satanic". there must be something if folks keep on saying it o__O +

hmm, no it's not satanic, i didn't mean "devil" in that reguard, the devil, to me, is a master of illusion and temptation...much like modern day politicians

i love the bold graphic qualitiy that you can get from a woodcut and this print is a good example.
i love the very surreal and expressive stare the bird gives
great print.

i looked through your gallery and this piece just stood out to me. I love the old woodblock feel to it. I also love the sense of imagry, it's reminescent of rennisance paintings, just so much to look at and absorb, from the position of the knife to the gesture of the hands and the little inset picture at the bottom... it's just great.

+thank you very much, it was done taking into account some traditional iconographic rules. the vignette at the bottom is -almost- reproduced from an old prayer book's illustration.
good having you around.+

hm. I like this more every time I look at it. I'm finding myself fixated on the heart in the corner. I've always been weirdly fascinated by the symbol of the sacred heart, but have never really been sure how to interpret it to make it a less blatantly Christian symbol. I've actually been toying with the idea of a sacred heart tattoo, but I don't know if my sacreligious tendencies run that strong. Anyway... I love the complexities of meaning here, the directions I see your work moving in... very exciting.
