Played around in max this evening, and made this.Rendered using VRay, and modelled using 3ds max 2009.
Time to model: 1 hr
Time to render: 1 hr
Did some post in photoshop, as there where a lot of noice in the render (in the background). Thats why the dof/blur is so overdone, but I think it turned out nice.

One tiny little thing: The "liquid" inside the syringes is not responding to gravity very well, it's rotated.

This is two years late, so sorry for that XD but uhm, you know how syringes work, right? If they are "prepared for injection" the doc usually pressed all air out, so the liquid inside is compressed. No airbubble -> No visual gravity effect

Oooh, very nice! I've seen both of your syringe renders, and I think I prefer this one.
...But that's probably because I'd hate to get a shot as dense as those in the other render. *shudder* They're both gorgeous, though.

So shiny! And the liquids are the perfect type of transparent. <3 Excellent job! I thought this looked better than the other one because the other looked like you'd be injecting with paint, haha.

Oh wow! I did something like this in Lightwave but not NEARLY as realistic. I just love it! So shiny.. haha And the blur adds a nice effect. Awesome work!

I like the DOF bettere here too. But that is easy to fix on the others, but since I'v gotten so many comments and stuff on the other one I dont want to take it down and replace it ^^

OHH MY GOD dude, like WOW, on 3Ds? i didn't even no that was possible you should be really proud of all your work. 3Ds is really complicated, at least to me
only played with it for an hour or so though

I think the solid colors on the picture in which you received your Daily Deviation really made it.
This picture is pretty, but the colors are harder to see, and not as attention grabbing as the denser colors were.

This is my first version. Did anothe render with a more "solid", "non-liquid" liquid. Or something like that ^^
