"Atomic Batteries to Power---"Here's an unpublished piece I did of Adam and Burt from the 1966 Batman Show. To me this was always the scene everyone looked forward to week-to-week.
15"x 20", acrylics and colored pencils on Cold Press illustration board.
Yes, I'm a big fan of the old show and I still love the Barris Batmobile.

Haha! When I was a kid I thought the dialogue was like Shakespeare! And yes, a lot has changed with the character, but all of it has been enjoyable, especially the old show which has inspired so many creatively and artistically.

I'm tell you, The Batman TV show was creatively scented with everything an artist (and child) would love-- animated living characters & actors, futuristic designed Bat-gadgets, pop art animation, music brilliance, eye-catching costumes, beautiful set designs & art production, and a color palette straight from a Crayola box! Any artist worth his salt has somehow been inspired by the show.
