Whoooooeeeeee Steve, you sure do have some talent my friend, this is a beauty of a wall, even the title lends credence to the theme, you can just imagine the internal, sheer frustrating battle that bearing must be going through, thank the lord it doesn't suffer from claustrophobia ha HA hA hA....awesome, awesome, awesome work my friend, thanks for sharing it with us

Steve I know exactly how you feel my friend, I have been stuck behind four walls now for coming on 9 years, either home or hospital, 48 Operations under general anesthetic, I have spent 3 Christmases and 2 New Years in ICU....it starts to feel like you are in prison with no chance of parole and escape is just a fantasy story someone made up to help you go to sleep at night, almost like a ghoulish bedtime story.....but through it all I have had my family, I have had my friends as well, but only a few of those friends hung around that I was able to call family....its a very cold place to be isn't it Steve, being that little blue ball with all of this...fencing...mesh...LIFE around you, but at least you have your wife, partner to talk to when things really get you down, my wife was in the same accident, and is 22% brain damaged, she is totally not the person I married, its hard Steve, very hard to be that blue ball.....but you know what, that blue ball still has a shine, you can still pick him out, he still stands tall and proud of who he is and what he can do in all aspects of life, he has achieved, yes he is still stuck, but he is shining, and at the end of the day, thats all you can do......I love the fact you can read a lot into a mans life by the title of his work, I name my work to correlate with the desktops, so I can imagine these pieces are very important to you, its awesome that you can throw away some of the angst you feel in a beautiful piece of art....I try the same, I try and lose my existence in my desktops, it makes me happy, and that can't be half bad can it....anyway Steve you are a real stand up fella, and a bloke to ride the river with as they say in the westerns....life can be an intolerable weight, but if you have that shine...your partner/wife...your family....and a strong belief in who and what you are, that weight can become bearable, it is never maintainable for the weight is so damn heavy, but you get there in the end......Whooooooeeeeeeeee that was great sometimes it helps just to talk, although I'm writing, you get the point I know....sorry for the book Steve, but I am happier for the fact I felt I could talk to you....cheers my friend, lets hope Desperation doesn't win shall we, we'll find our way somehow, as I say that little blue ball still has a shine......cheers Steve
