I just used some cheap beginner kit...continuous light where the light bulbs burn out all the time. I just didn't use the umbrella. I want to learn how to use more professional lighting though...like strobes and basically what you do. : )

aah yeah continuous lighting isn't too great for photos, only for video
strobes are much brighter, but i guess the good thing about continuous is its easier to meter for light
