non è finito perchè non rispecchiava l'idea iniziale che avevo.

regarding this sketch seems proportionate, it would be helpful to see a face less sketchy, something more finished.

How do you manage to do such an amazing anatomy?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

StefanoLanza In reply to CharlyChive [2015-03-28 18:59:22 +0000 UTC]

thanks for the comment! Difficult question, complicated answer with a comment. The anatomy is a broad subject, the study and exercise are the basis for understanding and improving. Studying observe and learn from the great artists helps. Excuse my English.

I guess you are very influenced byΒ Burne Hogarth.
Is there any other great anatomy artist you could recomend?
I appreciate your comment

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

StefanoLanza In reply to CharlyChive [2015-03-29 08:13:15 +0000 UTC]

regarding anatomy books are very useful those of Giovanni Civardi, Gottfried Bammes, Andrew Loomis.
My influences are ancient art really love sculptors painters of the past, I often go in a huge monumental cemetery to study and admire great sculptors Giulio Monteverde, Vittorio Lavezzari, Giuseppe Navone and many others.
So also study the great artists of the past (example Canova, Bernini etc ..) is very useful and are a great school to study anatomy.
