Anybody remember my first revamp of Tahu? steeljack7707.deviantart.com/a… Ah, beautiful times when i started on DAAt first I wanted to some improve build of Tahu G2 and (mostly) keep gearbox. But... after 2 years standing on my shelf (with occasional small changes in construction), and to gain more experience in building I decided to rebuild him seriously. And the results of those few days of work are above.
I think I don't change only thighs and shoulders (but not so much can be changed). And head, of course.
In addition to the change in look in my head, I thought to slightly change the story of Tahu, and more precisely introduce it somehow to my head-canon. If someone read story of my world in Steelax description - It's not up to date. This is a story written by a dumb high school student who preferred to watch "The Lord of the Rings" instead of reading it, and then thought: "Oh, as I write some dark story about my self-MOC, it will certainly be epic and cool." "Em, no. He wasn't you idiot."
But I don't add new story line in this post, its not ready yet (now I have written out origin of arrival of Matoran to planet where is the story going (and I still don't have name from this planet), one important event named Great Elamental War, outline story of Agori, Skrall and some Matoran tribes and the foundations of the world (such as the Toa use the power of the elements). I still have to put everything together in a way that makes sense.
What I have to do... Ah, yeah. What Tahu do in my head-canon.
Mostly his story is some smillar to his story in G1. With some changes. He and rest of his team wake up thousands years after arrival... or more precisely, to break up on the surface of the planet. All Matoran and Toa were weakened by the plague that appeared on their ship (try to guess how he might look), so they body look like in G1. Over time, with successive generations becoming stronger and Tahu's team improved their forms and armor (and the name of the team) for hundreds of years until they began to resemble their counterparts from G2. Now six Masters of Elements from Tahu team are someone like bosses / leaders / mentors of the Toa of the corresponding elements and Tahu is leader of all Toa.
That's probably enough. The history and construction of Tahu will continue to be the corrected, so any comments or suggestions for improvement are welcome
And sorry for the quality of the picture ... i will need a new camera ...

Sam też chciałbym je zmienić, najlepiej na te pancerze poszerzające golenie (te co miał Mata Nui i Akcar, a później Xplode w kolorze czerwonym), ale jak zwykle - brak części. Ale puki co... te nakolanniki mnie pasują.

Back when I thought G2 was going to lead up to a well thought out plot twist my theory was that this was an alternate reality where Vakama chose to give Teridax the Mask of Time. Keep in mind this theory is outdated but just imagine if this was the story instead of what we got!
Makuta Teridax used the Mask to take over the Great Spirit Robot but because the Mask of Time is nearly impossible to control it takes so much out of him to use it that Teridax is now in a coma in the Great Spirit body and Mata nui is lost in time. Vakama wanted Teridax to never be awaken to cover up his past and hide his mistakes so he took on the fake name Ekimu and with the help of his old mask making mentor Nuhrii (who at this point doesn't remember anything prior to being encapsulated) and gave him the fake name Makuta, and the two of them reintroduced themselves to the Matoran as their Mask Maker Kings and name the new land Okoto instead of Mata nui to erase Mata nui from the collective conscious of the Matoran.
"Ekimu" made all the matoran wear the exact same useless mask so that they couldn't become toa, and made the rules regarding the creation of masks as an added procation to make sure no one ever found out his mistakes.
Back in Metru Nui Nuhrii grew jealous of Vakama because even though he taught him the art of Mask making, Vakama quickly surpassed him and the masks he made became more valuable. Nuhrii was one of the 6 matoran who tried to retrieve the great disks of each region and forge them into the mask of ultimate power. Vakama and the Toa Metu claimed them and Vakama used them to make the Mask of Time.
The Mask of Ultimate Power IS The Mask of Time
"Makuta" eventually grows jealous again of "Ekimu" and Forges the Mask of Time! When he puts it on he can't control it's overwhelming power and shows him the truth of everything that has happened, how he and the Matoran have been lied to by their leader, the existance of Mata Nui and Makuta Teridax, and the coming of the Toa Mata. "Ekimu" Hits the Mask off of "Makuta" and the shockwave puts "Ekimu" in a coma state, but because "Makuta" couldn't handle the power of Time hi became like a ghost in time detached form his physical body, so unable to act on his own he recruits the help of the wild Rahi creatures to help him find the Legendary Masks. The Matoran believed that "Makuta" had gone insane and became the enemy to their beloved leader, and so when the Toa Mata arrive they tell them that The Makuta is evil and that they must reawaken "Ekimu".
After the Spiders and undead soldiers fail "Makuta" decides to use more extreme measures and reawakens the remaining 5 Toa Metru, so it turns out that Umarak was Matau, and he is not alone! BUM BUM BUM!

Very interesting teory. One of the more extensive, which was to connect G1 and G2. This can be big plot twist if that turned out to be true.
Although for me too much conspiracy in this theory, etc, that eventually everything turns out to be a big conspiracy. It even makes sense (as you put it), but some things seem a bit strained.
