Payphones. OF THE FUTURE!
In all seriousness, though, nice work!

Thanks! But yeah, that's the trouble with setting things in the future - You never really know how things'll turn out. When I drew this, cellphones were the size of a brick and almost nobody had them

Just like the one where you have a floppy disc being exchanged. No one uses those anymore. Funny thing is, the commonly used "Save" icon is still a floppy disc, and we're reaching the point where many computer users won't understand that icon.

Oh, interesting point! Makes me wonder how many kids ask their parents "How come we say the phone is ringing?"

XD The sad thing is, I know people younger than me who only know floppy disks as "the save button". I had to explain what they were for.
I actually backed up the contents of one of my old computers entirely on floppies, once; took FOREVER, and a whole shoebox of disks. I'm pretty sure I still have them somewhere.
That said, I remember when stuff used to come on floppies all the time. Makes me wonder how software got so bloated...

I remember reading something in WIRED magazine, back in the 20th Century - "Never underestimate the bandwidth of a 747 full of floppies."

Its funny though that the main remnant of floppies is the 'save' icon. I was thinking the other day about the fact e-mail still has a function called 'CC'... for Carbon Copy. How much explaining does THAT one take now?
