Def not airsoft. Most obvious indicator is the mags are not airsoft mags. Then the location of the trades and what the trades are of, if you know your AK's.
For all the crap the media talks about "Assault Rifles" they have no clue when it comes to a reliable rifle that will damn near always shoot! AK's get a ton of respect in my book.

nice set-up, rifle, vest magazines, maqgazine holsters, don't forget 2 good canteens, more bullets, you can never have enough! maybe upgrade your woodland camo ruck sack for a multi-cam pack, but yours will work fine. I have a similar set-up but with an m4a3 semi-automatic assault rifle, which shoots 5.56 and .223 full metal jackets. what caliber is your bulgarian rifle? I just went to the whole sale warehouse for bullets, they don't have any 5.56 nato rounds, only .223 remingtons and they are over-priced. Russian bullets right now are the cheapest.

Haha thanks. I usually run with a camelbak if I'm doing extended outdoor shooting. Canteens flop around way too much for my liking. Frankly, where I am the woodland ruck works just as well as multicam, especially since I almost never use a ruck. I really only put it in the picture so that it would make the rifle "pop". The rifle is chambered for 7.62 Russian.
Yeah, it's more difficult to find 5.56 than .223, although a lot of my friends often shoot with M855 rounds, can't remember where they pick them up. And I dunno where you're living; where I live .223 is cheaper than 7.62. xD If you only want to plink, pick up some Tula .223, that's pretty cheap. Who makes your rifle?

interesting, my m4 is a bushmaster upper, and armalite lower, my dad built this assault rifle, I bought it from him at wholesale cost. he has 2 others with all the bells and whistles, mine just has back up iron sights and 1 rail under the hand gaurd for a broom handle or a light, which I have 1 of each. I would like to get a larger caliber like your 7.62, my friend erb wheels and deals smalls arms very much like your rifle, but I think the next rifle I would like to have is a 17 hmr, bi-mart carries them for around 300 dollars and its a good high velocity round for small game. Not quite zombie apocalypse worthy but a step up from the .22 rifles. I also have 2 .22 rifles, one colt and a 10/.22 ruger. But even if zombie apocalypse doesn't happen it never hurts to arm yourself to the teeth! get yourself a good tanto-cold steel knife for when your rifle runs out and your hand gun jams! lol, happy hunting!

I shot a Romanian varriant in this same kind of set up. Red dot, AFG, all the Magpul. It's crazy.

Oh, nice. Mine's a Bulgarian rifle.
She shoots like a dream, although I should note that I have since ditched the RIS and AR-type stockset for polymer Warsaw Pact furniture. I have kept the railed gas tube and sight though. I also purchased one of TROY Industries' Medieval muzzle brakes. I basically decided that I wanted my AK to be as light as possible. While the RIS and everything was nice, it just didn't feel right on a Kalash.
