Finally finished my Steam-Hammer and managed to take some pictures of it.The hammer's head consists of industrial manufactured piping-parts (as you may assume by my 3D-concept I will exchange the valve-handle as this one is made out of green plastic - I want a metal one).
The tube is made out of plexi-glass as I thought actual glass would be too fragile for a hammer. Filled it again with candle-gel (I managed to enhance the colour by adding resin-pigments). The hilt is leather-wrapped.
If you want to know anything else, just ask (although it may take me a while to answer).

Just looking for clarification on "functionality" of this item. How exactly would having a steam, or even water, pressure system designed into a hammer provide benifits to its use? I may just not be seeing it usefulness in my half tired daze from work... I love the concept though! its really nicely done and looks wounderful!

R U any good with electronics?
Circuit bords, stuff like that?
I was thinking, useing the valve as a light dimer or setings dile.

It would be exaggeration to say I'm good at it. But I know the basics.

Cool, Warhammer and steampunk! And it may not be the first attempt at a steampunk hammer that I have seen, but it is certainly the first successful one! The other one being one that I tried making out of a metal pipe, a lawnmower engine (which I guess would be more dieselpunk), and copper wire to hold it together! After seeing this, I want to revisit my attempt, maybe even changing the head of the hammer. Stay awesome!
