Description Blah. Just a page of very scrappy doodles I did whilst down at Byron. Got very sunburnt. Am feelin' totally drained. I thought about finishing some of these off, but it hurts to move right now.

Promise I'll do something NON fanarty soon xx

I read the other comments where you said the colouring is substandard....But its got this quick, sketchy, organic feel to it that is very appealing.

Eeek! Ouch!! Sunburn!!!!! Aghhhh!

I know right, I peeled too. It was icky. Now I'm the same pasty shade of white I was before. Alas.

Really do you think the colouring is okay? Mwah ha ha -steeples fingers Mr Burns style- cool.

Alas...

Yeah I love the way its coloured. It looks spontaneous and real -- not real as in realism, but real as in true and not contrived -- you know what I mean?

Have you ever watched a chinese watercolour master do a painting? Its done in a matter of minutes. Its astounding that entire elements are done in single brush strokes -- the blending/bleeding of colour is all done while loading the brush before it ever touches the paper. This pic has that feel of fluidity. Its a skill I want to develop but have next to none of. My first strokes/attempts are always shit. And I tinker too much. Perhaps that is why I like this colouring style so much. The grass is always greener on the other side....right?

No; that sounds incredible. I have a set of chinese brushes at home and the level of skill it takes o use them is totally blowing my mind. I've been doing lots of nude sketches with them, they're so versatile -loves- I love how you colour. Is precise and crisp andits go this level of detail that just can't manage to get a hold of. Lol guess the grass IS greener.

My guess is that with a pressure sensitive tablet and a computer/gimp that's not so glitchy, your colouring would be even more kick-ass than it is now.

Omg, this is awesome. I like this idea and design so much. Colouring is great too. They are beautiful when they are very close each others.

Haha, yeah. I'm drowning in the stuff. Its gone down lots on my face (now I just look like I'm really embarressed or drunk) but my neck and shoulders are still really sore.

<3 Thankies XD Is it Biron instead? I wasn't sure of the spelling, off past Tweed Heads anyway. It was really gorgeous there and peaceful. We stayed next to this virtually deserted beach (there were a few nudists, but they were just jogging and swimming and stuff - not the weirdo kind) I wish I was still there. We went up to this beautiful old lighthouse and saw a whole school of dolphins and a baby whale swimming with its mother. -sigh- I could so live in New South Wales.

LOL! Did you even use sunscreen at all?? "slip, slop, slap" has been ground into me since I can remember....although to be honest, I don't do it all the time either lol...but I usually take sunscreen with me at least...

I put on heaps. All over! It was only factor 35, but I mean, its not like I was sunbathing, just strolling around town. I even got burnt on the backs of my calves. Who gets burnt there??

I still had heaps of fun. Its lovely, I think its really cool the way they turned the railway station into a pub and you can stroll along the old train lines.
