Joshua the Jolteon is, once again, the product of an expiriment by Professor Oak. Professor Oak created a shipping machine back in the mid 70s and his first project was to combine a human volunteer with a Jolteon. Not coincidentally, the human was a male and the Jolteon was a female. Nothing came out of the shipping machine, and so Professor Oak let the human go and used the Jolteon on his team to become the Pokemon champion. Little did he know, that female Jolteon gave birth to a humanoid Jolteon.

Jolteon's Dad is unknown as to where he is since that event, but Jolteon's mother had passed away since the late 80s. While she was still alive Joshua was very young, but his mother, having helped Professor Oak become the champion, taught her son all her tricks of how to put out crazy amounts of power, as well as fighting strategies. Since Joshua is one of few Eeveelutions to possess the full potential of his elemental power combined with proper human strength, as well as not having any anatomy problems like Felix, he's a real force to be reckoned with, but he only very rarely uses his power to keep himself under the radar.

Joshua's legs possess the rigidity and strength of human legs, as well as the nimbleness and maneuverability of Jolteon legs. Because of this, he can run nearly as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog, he can scale buildings by running up them, he can jump higher than Mario, and very rarely take fall damage jumping off of buildings. Sometimes at night he runs all around the city just for fun.

Joshua is best friends with Uriel the Umbreon and Evelin the Espeon, and he also works for Eve the Eevee in the athletic department. Sometimes he does volunteer work for him too.

Joshua has a "long lost" sister of whom nobody knows where she is. Sometimes strange sounds can be heard within the house, coming from the basement. In the basement there is one mysterious door that looks normal but refuses to open, despite it being previously recalled to open. Joshua blames himself for the loss of his sister and mother.
