This painting was requested along time ago...Finally I got around to finishing him.....Hope you all like my Abel from Trinity Blood!!!

i like it! all the white is a bit bright but, it sorta givees it a a sorta glowy effect :/ it hink lol XD

I know the white is a bit bright...but I also didn't want a dark painting...I wanted a different view of our beloved Able here......perhaps if I sell this painting...I'll work on a much darker version of him....one not so smirkish and light..-hehe-...

It's... different. No other word for it, just different. The thing is, I believe it should have darker colours, especially for the hair. The white-silver shading is not that good, I believe. The white decoration of his clothes, especially, is too bright and it makes the darker background with the deep red sythe loose its effect.
Generally is good, but darker, it's be far better.

Wow! Another one of My Favorite! You've done this Justice! The Hair is Whipping, and the Subject is all so... Well... A-hem. Your colors are vibrant and eye-popping! Great Work!

Your coloring tech is very interesting and stands out well. The movement of the hair and the characters, even if it's just a chest up shot, is very well protraied. Though the pinky and the finger next to it on the hand that is fixing the glasses seem just a tad awkward, I can't place it unless I'm looking at the perspective wrong, but they look as though they move to far to the side. Then again, I might be missing the perspective because of the lack of shadow. The thumb also appears to be a little on the long side, pratically as long as the pinky.
All in all though you did a lovely job. What's also a good thing is even if he's wearing dark clothes you where able to pervent him from fading into the background, keeping him and his face the main focus well with the positioning of the hair. Keep it up sweetie!

I totally see your view point....and I agree...In that aspect of the painting, I was hoping that it was not too much of an eye sore...considering I noticed it when Abel here returned from the photograhper...however the original painting offers a better view and perspective.
