So so sorry this took so long, Tailspin101 !!! I got sick over the weekend (and still am sick, actually) and haven't worked on ANYTHING. At all. Then i decided i was feeling better enough to finish this, because I was nearly done with it anyways…. but yeah. Hope this redline is helpful! Also, I would really recommend constantly looking at photographs and copying (not tracing) them. That's a good way to learn and make sure your anatomy is correct. (I even had to look up a reference for this redline here). Sorry for making the girl more like a woman instead. It just kind of… happened.

Definitely start on the face first, but make sure to keep your sketches very light. Don't ground in your pencil to the paper unless you're doing finishing details; the harder you press your pencil, the harder it will be to erase. You know that circle that I made to tell where the top of the head is? Actually, start with that. Draw a circle first, then build your face off of that. The nose is usually where the bottom of the circle is. And I'd look up more tutorials and art books; they'll probably explain it much better than I can.

Yeah, its a thing where you go over someone else's work (with their permission of course) with red lines to correct different things, such as anatomy or shading or expression (or all of the above).
