I'll comment on your real media drawings, since fractals I don't really have too much experience with, nor can I properly judge effort on them either Anyhow, your coloured pencil drawings are pretty, very colourful and cute looking as well. The colours seem a little pale at times, like on the faerie's hair, or her outline - especially if one compares it to the flower, which is quite bright and strong in colours, you know what I mean? For the skin and the outlining, one has to squint a little to see it - sometimes it helps if you just go over the spots again (if that's boring, listening to music while doing it helps a lot, and it relaxes you too .. hehe, you can even sing along, I sometimes do ), which also makes it look less grainy. I have another little advice about the presentation of your work - the images you have are really really big, right now I'm commenting on the thumbnail because on full view, I couldn't even fit half of the picture on my screen. Look in the program you have whether there's an option to "Resize" or "Resample" your work - if you can make it just large enough it fits into a 600 x 600 pixel box, that'd work perfectly. For more very much detailed work, you can go to 800x800 pixels too, that's about the size I usually have (right now you have 1482x1702 pixels which is .. huge).
Apart from that, it's a happy and cheerful drawing, and you're doing all well ^-^ For different poses, it helps a lot if you start drawing characters just with circles and such as first - try it, the head would make a cirle, the body would be slightly pear-shaped, and the hands would start out at the shoulders and get slightly thinner towards the end. Once you're fine with it and the circles look just in the right position (press only lightly ;3 ), you can go over it again, adding like hair, hands-palms, fingers and such. That also helps a lot it you want to make different poses - like drawing your faeries playing tennis - you'd start out with a stick figure, and then draw circles around it .. aaand then go for the details It's hard at first, but if you try it, you'll improve even more ^-^
In any case, I like the themed clothes you put on her - like the green straws and skirt and the coconuts on her chest - and together with the bright pink wings and the flower, it sure makes it a happy character, no doubt
Keep up the good work ^-^

thank you so much for the long (and helpful!) comment. You have great advice, I'll definitely take it! (especially with the resizing, I didn't know my scanned pictures were so huge!) thank you so much again!
