Those two shapes between the front and the back? That's the head of the bass, where the strings attach.

lol well heres a tip: sew the guitar body first, turn it insideout and stuff it. then sew the guitar neck by hand. since the neck is thin, it would be too hard to turn inside out. i learned that the hard way the first time i made one lol
