thank you so much oh my goodness! that's so nice of you to say! painting like that is sorta of tough because you really cant be afraid to make drastic changes and it takes a long time to blend everything perfectly, but i think its worth it in the end.

You're welcome. ;w; For the blending, you never use smudge right? (In terms of what I have read) I think that's my issue, I use smudge a lot. >< And it makes it messy. I think it's just about layering the colors to blend. >< Still, I can't paint like that! XD

nope, don't use smudge or blur, I've got paint tool as so its got some great features when it comes to the opacity and thickness of brushes.

thank you so much! the cheekbones were sort of a challenge, since she's so pale and normally I like to use sort of pinkish hues but couldn't here. and I'm really glad you like her eyes! Half the time that I was supposed to be drawing i was just sorta staring at her staring back at me haha

oh dont feel bad about scrapping stuff in frustrations! i probably have 15 scrapped drawings for everyone one i manage to finish and post on here! actually my charon picture was a scrapped drawing that i came back to half a year later and completely overhauled. sometimes things just dont work out, and sometimes you just need to move on or experiment with things.
