I was bored of other drawings I was working on, so I wanted to do a quick oekaki before going to bed.. looked through my Sugimori folder for a Pokemon I hadn't drawn before and chose Murkrow. I love Murkrow.. they're kinda cute in a funny way. This is one of my first tries at a dark-looking picture that I'm actually happy with, hurray! Amazingly it only took me 59 minutes. I don't know how that happened. I think I'm getting better with colours. XDI also don't know why I used ShiPainter, since it doesn't do anything special with solids. The layers helped though, I guess.
Used: Optical mouse, ShiPainter.

Ooooh, very cool! Murkrow flying through the dark night sky. Very, very nice. The wings are very cool and nicely done too. The background is just dark enough, too. Really gives the feel that Murkrow is a dark Pokemon... very awesome!

I don't know Jean...but Murkrow seems really...flat. o_O The part where it's all black and everything. 
I know I'm not the one to give you advice (lol you're the better artist XD) but when I color I tend to avoid using blacks, but a shade that is nearly close to black--that way you can shade. ^^ I don't know the tools in oekaki very well, but that's what I do when I use PS.

Oh, I know, I did it solid black on purpose.. I've seen people do that before, so I just wanted to give it a shot. At least it doesn't look as bad as that Deoxys one I did.. XD I got the sillhouette ALL wrong.

Neat. Murkrow is one of my favs.
I do like the solid black effect. It startled me at first, but it's really neat. XD Murkrow seems to blend into the shadows.

Well yeah, yes, and no. Umbreon, Sneasel, Tyranitar, and Houndour > Houndoom.. you could kind of count Girafarig considering it SHOULD be Psychic/Dark because of it's ass, but it's not XD

My Dark party had like Murkrow, Umbreon(which took me forever to evolve @_@), Houndoom, Sneasel, Tyranitar.. and a Gangar(Don't ask me why <_<

Ooooh Murkrow one of my favorite PKMN, I had all Dark PKMN..XD (yes yes I know it was a VERY bad idea to have all the same type) but I could'nt help me self :3. I think my Murkrow was called "Dread".
They should have it evolve into a Raven or something XDD.

Actually sometimes having all or most of one type isn't that bad.. someone killed me in a double battle using just two electrics, (they're newer ones) Plusle and Minun. They power eachother up and are really scary. e_e

I wouldn't have used plain solid black for his body, and I would have added some minimal lightning on the feathers (as the reflections of the stars), but I won't complain since it's a well done pic of one of my favourites X3
(though I never got the chance to seriously raise one..)

Well for some reason I wanted to use plain solid black.. I'm not really sure why. o_o I guess I was thinking about when I'd seen crows flying at night, None of the black really had any highlights unless there were lamps around. And thanks XD

I've never used a Murkrow in battle before, so I don't know if it's any good or not. This is a cool picture, though. It looks as if it could just come alive and start attacking.

It's in FireRed actually.. in a cave on one of the added Sevii Islands. ^^

Oh, they are. FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes of Red and Blue[/Green]. But they added the Sevii Islands that are accesable a bit before and some more after the Elite Four.. and you can catch a few of the GS Pokemon on them, and there's some new trainers to fight.
