Description
Just like the Tokka necklace that I designed, I wanted to design a similar betrothal necklace for Katara and Aang.The way I designed it in my head is that it had to be a different color from Katara's and it had to reflect a fusion of the Water Tribe and Air Nomads.
So I used the colors of the air nomads - yellow and orange.
And the basic design of a water tribe necklace.
Though I fused the symbols - the waves and the air swirls.

Well, the primary Elements (Water, Earth, Fire and Air)Β have one, since:
Katara has the Symbol of Water on her Necklace
The Roof in the Earthbending Arena in Omashu and theΒ Champion Belt of the Earthbender Tournament has the Symbol of Earth
The Sanctuary Gate's LockΒ at Avatar Roku's Temple hasΒ the Shape of the Symbol of Fire
Monk Gyatso's and Aang's Amulet (At the End of the Series) has the Symbol of Air
and
General Iroh drew them simplified, while explaining Zuko the Importance of Multiculture
The other Symbols of the 4 primaryΒ ElementsΒ fc06.deviantart.net/fs31/f/200β¦Β are the Crests of the 4 Nations.

Though the design I had in mind when I designed this one for Katara and Aang was something more along the lines of the sky/air meeting the ocean.Β

I like the fusion of the symbols on the necklace. You might've wanted to keep the spirals the same size, but that's the only crit I have. I really like what you did here.

Yeah. Unfortunately doing the swirls in photoshop with a mouse is tricky, which is why I say that it's not the best quality.

Well, there are some gemstones that have a yellowish color to them. But those are usually more transparent. Such as Topaz, Amber, and so on.
