I played Okamiden and adored it! Chibiterasu made my teeth rot from cuteness. I will always love these games, and they've given back to me in so many ways. So this is dedicated to the game and all fans everywhere who love it as much as I do.
Everything I touch needs stars.
Unrelated, does anyone else dislike the "More art from-" thing on the side? It doesn't show anything but super old crap I did in 2004. D:

Hi! I think I did it in three layers: a base layer with the main color you're going for, a second layer on top where I drew in hair with a darker color, and then a third layer on top of that where I drew in hair with a lighter color. There are several tutorials on DA that'll help you a lot more, like Sullivan's guide to drawing fur... which is the same idea as what I do, just drawn much, much better.

Now, the thing that got me about Okamiden is that they referred to Shiranui as a male, and as the "grandfather" of Chibi.... but before, it was stated that Ammy was merely a weakened Shiranui. Whaaaaaa?
