Even hating "Thomas the Tank Engine" and any fan-made crossover with it, even ones that are not "Pooh's Adventures", even though I quite understand why people don't like "Pooh's Adventures" (though even then, it's a dead horse by now). But I, for one, just make Thomas crossovers for fun, even if I don't intend to make a full story out of it.
But back to the original point; it's not cool to hate TTTE or any other kids' show just for being a kids' show, though it seems that Thomas often gets singled out since it's about talking trains, which by that logic, you'd think the same thing would happen to "Theodore Tugboat" - a show about talking boats and marine life in general - even though that show had run its course and ended in 2001 after five seasons.

Honestly, people who are very vocal about what they hate but never talk about they like make me go "Okay Holden Caulfield, what do you like then?" It's fine to hate popular/generally well-received things, but don't act as if that makes you more special or more "intellectual" or whatever. It's annoying when someone claims they hate a show/movie/game/whatever but won't shut up about it and that makes me think that maybe they do like it but are insecure and afraid expressing their like for that thing will make them look "uncool" in their eyes for whatever reason. I mean c'mon, what happened to the days of just ignoring things you don't like?

Note, I don't hate things because it's cool to hate them. I have reasons behind them.

You personally may not hate things for petty reasons. But people who have never read Twilight, or never listened to Justin Bieber, etc, openly claim to hate them because other people do. Because then they can feel included.
