Squadron Commander Lieutenant Genesis Wilson, 421st Starfighter Squadron 'Black Widows'. My OC by www.deviantart.com/sanefox . Genesis was the highest ranking survivor of the 'Black Widows' first major battle with the Jem Hadar in early 2374 so Starfleet Command gave her command of what was left of the 421st. She wasn't sure if she was up to the challenge but she took it on with grit and determination.

The first thing Genesis did was read everything she could find on fighter tactics, the second thing was to make Rula Hassani her executive officer. Then the two women devised new combat tactics for Starfighter pilots and began to train the replacement pilots Starfleet sent to rebuild the squadron.

Genesis is a intelligent, strong willed, and hard working person. She is a stickler for details and she has a photographic memory. Since taking command of the 'Black Widows' she has done nothing but 'live' the job. She trains them hard, pushing them near the breaking point. She takes little time for herself, her main concern being the squadron. She curses them when they mess up and praises them when they do well. She gets involved with each one of her people, knowing them personally. She orders them to stay in touch with their families back home, she makes sure they eat well and get enough sleep. She personally inspects each Starfighter, to make sure her people are flying the best maintained ships in the fleet. She has gone to 'bat' for them a number of times when it was needed.

Genesis' nickname is 'Demon Hen' because she pushes and prods her people like a demon, but worries about them and stays on them like a mother hen... and they love her for it.

She once told all of them 'Hell, I don't want you to love me, I want you to fight for me!'
