this is a truly *lovely* portrait/composition. The toning is superb. It really sucks the viewer into the picture, trying to figure out *what* the heck is going on here (haha with the dog chain thingee, and the "is he playing with her boob or what?" thingee).

Well, it looks a lot more complicated than it really is.
It was just a perfect evening-light situation. Afterwards I reduced the colours in Photoshop a bit, with a focus on brown tones.
